PANEL Discussion
Effectively addressing sustainability challenges in emerging and developing economies in the post-pandemic digitalization era requires responsible transition to new normal i.e. digitalization of economic, academic and social activities. Work from home, learn from home and online businesses are the ways by which governments can enable eco-friendly and inclusive socioeconomic opportunities. A quadruple helix model of coordination between government, academia, industry and civil society has the potential to help attain such responsible digitalization in emerging and developing economies where large part of sustainability challenges exist.
- Yet another shining part of 6th IRC-Indonesia Chapter is its flagship panel discussion namely, Great Debate, whereby the panelists from govt, industry, academia and civil society will share their scholarship and experience to reconcile over sustainability issues in emerging and developing economies. The panel discussion is part of the plenary session of the conference. This year the Great Debate is titled as:
A Quadruple Helix Dialogue on Responsible Digitalization to address Sustainability Challenges in Emerging Economies
- The panel discussion is in collaboration with UN Principles of Responsible Management Education (UN PRME-ASEAN chapter). The distinguished panel discussants comprising of top govt officials, industry representatives and Deans from top business schools in Asia will reflect on their scholarship and experience to highlight issue of responsible digitalization in post-pandemic era. This Great Debate 2023 will focus on conceptualization of responsible digitalization
based on inclusion, diversity and equity in order to address the challenges of sustainability faced by economy, business and society in emerging and developing economies.
