Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sallahuddin Hassan is an expert in economics. His postgraduate studies in economics and public administration were obtained from different universities including the University of Tennessee, University of Colorado, and University of Southern California in the United States of America. Later on, he held his PhD in Economics from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia in 2011.
Currently, Dr. Sallahuddin Hassan is an Associate Professor at School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB) at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Earlier, he has been promoted to different administrative positions at SEFB; as being the Head of Economics and Agribusiness department, the Post Graduate Coordinator and lately, as the Deputy Dean at School of Economics, Finance and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sallahuddin Hassan is a professional speaker. He is an active academician in terms of publications, reviewing and postgraduate supervision. In addition, He is a member of Advisory Board at the center for sustainability research and consultancy (CSRC) that is organizing international conferences in collaboration with different universities abroad such as Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia and Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sallahuddin Hassan is the Conference Chair of the first International Conference on Economics Business and Social Sciences that will be held at the Lebanese International University (LIU).
